"As a parent, I whole-heartedly recommend the co-op preschool program. My two children
had their first experiences socializing with new friends in a safe and loving environment.
They were excited every day that they went to school and loved to tell me all about
their day when they got home. The co-op’s teacher, Miss Shannon always provided
a loving, fun environment while setting clear boundaries and expectations. I was
able to be a part of my children’s preschool experience by being a duty parent several
times. As a Early Years (Kindergarten) teacher with 10 years experience, I would
encourage all parents to enter their children in a preschool program before they
begin Junior Kindergarten. The transition from being home with mom and dad to starting
a “big kid” school is a big step for kids and for parents. In my experience, more
than knowing their alphabet or number recognition, children made the transition
to the JK program more smoothly and successfully when they had had experiences being
around other children in a learning environment such as a preschool. I would highly
recommend the program."

"There could be no better start to your child's social and academic career than
the St. George Co-operative Nursery School. Their teacher, Shannon Berardi, provides
a loving and safe environment for children to learn and explore within these crucial
early formative years. Miss. Shannon's gentle demeanor and expertize coupled with
the educational programs that she utilizes, helps introduce young learners to fundamental
concepts in a fun and engaging manner. Each child meets growing success in a postive
and loving environment. Being a Junior/Senior Kindergarten teacher, and a mom, I
would not place my children in any other program but Miss Shannon's. My own children
have had a tremendous experience within the school, one a successful graduate and
the other currently attending. To watch them laugh, play, and learn both socially
and academically is amazing. You could not give your child a more positive and enriching
experience than attending Miss. Shannon's class at the St. George Co-op Nursery
School."
